Yamaha RX100 returned to Japan after seeing Hero Xtreme 200, not giving strong features…

The Hero company, which is still finding its feet in the sports bike market, may soon launch another bike; the name of this bike may be the Hero Xtreme 200. According to media reports, the Hero Xtreme 200 can be made by the company in collaboration with its new partner, Harley-Davidson. Some more sports bikes can be launched along with the Hero Xtreme 200 in the coming months. The first Hero Xtreme 160R has been launched in the Xtreme series, but this bike did not get the success that the company expected. The features of Xtreme 200 can be strong in themselves, but some features can also be taken from Xtreme 160R. Let’s learn about the features found in the Xtreme 160R, which can also be seen in the new model.

Xtreme 160R Specifications

Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve single-cylinder OHC platform with a 163 cc engine displacement. It gives 15.2 PS at 8500 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. For safety, disc brakes have been installed in both tires of the bike, which comes with the support of single-channel ABS.

Xtreme 160R Features

The features found in the Xtreme 160R are quite decent, but they may not be able to attract today’s young generation. An attempt has been made to give the bike an advanced look with LED tail lights, a digital speedometer, a digital odometer, a fuel gauge, a digital tachometer, a digital tripmeter, and DRLs. Even after being a sports bike, both kick and self-start options have been given to start it, which is a good thing. The bike gets a 5-speed constant mesh gear box with a multi-plate wet clutch. According to the claim, this bike gives a mileage of 55.47 kmpl, so long distances can be covered on filling its 12-liter fuel tank.

The Xtreme 160R, which comes at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 1.20 lakh, goes up to Rs 1.32 lakh on the road. Even better features can be seen in the Hero Xtreme 200.
