Position: Software Engineer III

Location: Bengaluru

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering or Masters degree in Computer Applications or other equivalent technical field.

Eligibility:
  • 6-7+ years’ work experience.
  • 3+ Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting.
  • 3+ Experience in developing front-end UI using React, back-end API development using Java, ETL development to handle the movement of huge volumes of data.
  • Excellent knowledge in writing SQL using RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Cloud DB.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications (APIs) in cloud and on-prem technologies.
  • Experience with large, complex data sets.
  • Write complex queries that can scale to meet requirements.
  • Verification/validation that data solutions and/or system performance meets requirement.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Unix commands and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Retail Domain Knowledge is added advantage.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as project and system availability requirements demand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience in developing front-end UI using React, back-end API development using Java, ETL development to handle the movement of huge volumes of data.
  • Excellent knowledge in writing SQL using RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Cloud DB.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications (APIs) in cloud and on-prem technologies.
  • Should be able to closely work with Data Scientists in providing them the needed data, present the data modelling results in UI screens.
  • Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
  • Should work well with other developers, QA and support teams.
  • Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.
  • Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency.
