Rajasthan Safai Karmchari Bharti 2023: The Rajasthan government has amended the Rajasthan Municipal (Safai Karmachari Service) Rules, 2012 for direct recruitment to 13184 vacant posts of sweepers in 176 urban bodies of the state. The Department of Self-Government has issued the notification of the Rajasthan Municipal Corporation (Sweepers Service) Amendment Rules 2023. Through this, the provision of practical examination has also been added in Rule 9 along with the interview. Now this recruitment will be done for one year, according to the provisions of the amended Rajasthan Municipal Corporation (Sweepers Service) Amendment Rules 2023 and ensuring complete compliance of the guidelines issued by the state government for direct recruitment, giving priority to the families (Valmiki Samaj) involved in traditional cleaning work. Experience, interview and practical examination will be done by the Autonomous Government Department. Earlier this recruitment was done in April. It was canceled after protests by Valmiki Samaj.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced 30,000 sanitation workers in the budget for the year 2023-24, in view of which this recruitment is to be done on 13,184 posts in the first phase. A revised notification in this regard will be issued on Friday. Candidates should keep their Janadhar card updated for the application.
Age Range
The minimum age limit for Rajasthan Safai Karamcharis recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum at 40 years. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per the rules of the state government.
Ability
– Candidate must be a native of Rajasthan
– Minimum 1 year experience issued by the competent authority to the candidate in any urban body center of the state or any department of the state, certified by the order of the central and state government, self-governing organization and the contractors in the government organization through the placement agency Must have certificate.
Selection – Interview and Practical.
Pay Scale – According to the 7th Pay Commission payable by the state government, the pay scale of Safai Karamcharis is fixed at Pay Matrix Level-1. The monthly fixed remuneration during the probation period will be as per the State Government.
