There are many differences regarding the birth of Kabir Das Ji. On the basis of some facts, it is believed that he was born in the womb of a widowed Brahmin, but due to the fear of public shame, she left Kabirdas near the pond named Lahartara in front of Kashi. After this, they were brought up by a weaver named Lei, and Neema passed that way. On the other hand, some scholars are of the opinion that Kabirdas was a Muslim by birth and that he got the knowledge of the name of Ram from Guru Ramanand.
Saint Kabirdas removed the misconceptions prevailing in the minds of the people through his couplets. Along with this, there was a sharp attack on the fundamentalism of religion. He said many couplets to improve society. For this reason, he was called a social reformer.

It is said that Kabir’s followers were from all religions, so when he died, there was a dispute between both Hindus and Muslims regarding his last rites. It is said that in the midst of this dispute, when the sheet was removed from the dead body, there were only flowers. People distributed these flowers among themselves and performed the last rites according to their religion.
